How to beat the recession blues…

Turn off the NEWS!!!! I promise you, this will make life much more liveable. The media is a sure way to drive yourself to the belly of insanity! The news media only tend to focus on the negative, the lack, the losing. Times like these call for us to dig deep inside and grasp every bit of faith we can muster. When times are easy going and over all good, one might lose sight of what they’re really made of. It’s in times of change and for some despair, that the quality of the soul is being challenged. A recession, they say, is a time of both danger and opportunity. I personally choose to focus on the opportunity side of things. Yes, our comfortable, cozy, secure world as we know it is being contended. Great! It only means something new, better, more beneficial to our general way of life is being birthed. Away with the old and in with the new! So, what can you do to embrace the greatness of change? Get creative! Like I said earlier, it’s a time of opportunity. Of course it’s unfortunate so many businesses are closing, so many jobs have been lost, but guess what? You can create a business, a service, a product to fill the void that bankrupt business left in your community. How about that? Instead of focusing on lack and lost, focus on gain and abundance. Everyday I say these words to myself, “I am abundantly blessed. Money flows frequently and abundantly.” This does wonders for my perspective and overall attitude. No matter what economic recession the world is in, it does not have to be your reality unless you want it to be. You are the captain of your ship! It’s time to get creative. We are in this together; let’s go!
